Join our first online networking forum, for insights and opportunities in flood resilience and the all-important networking with peers and industry figures. This informal, one-hour session is open to all businesses who are interested in flood resilience, as well as local authority flood officers, and other bodies with an interest in commissioning flood related works or improving society’s resilience to our increasing flood risk.
We are delighted that Matthew Badger of the Environment Agency has agreed to speak at our first networking event. Matthew is an FCRM Senior Advisor in Innovation and will introduce Environment Agency frameworks as well as their priority innovation areas. Elena Kuvshinova of the Flood Innovation Centre will act as chair and facilitate the networking.
We have launched these networking events, following feedback from attendees of our workshop programmes. The networking element of our workshops has always proved very popular and many workshop alumni asked for an opportunity to meet again. We hope to make these online networking events a regular feature of the working calendar.
